A charming lowset weatherboard house, it is completely separate from the owners' residence, with its own entrance and garden. French doors lead onto a wide verandah, with panoramic views to the mountains and the soft southern downs country. The house sleeps four to five people.
French doors lead from the living areas out onto wide verandahs. It has a fully functional kitchen; with lounge/dining room and sunroom. The main bedroom has a queen size bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds. There is an adjoining walk in wardrobe and bathroom, with a second toilet off the laundry. The sunroom can accommodate a 5th person.
The cottage is fully equipped and includes a BBQ, DVD player and movies, books and games. There is central gas heating for the colder winter months.
It's a great place for artists, bird watchers and hikers or for those who just want to relax and revive. All you need to do is bring yourself and your provisions! Children are welcome. They can talk to the animals and collect eggs for breakfast or just have a good time

Twelve Kms from Warwick Queensland. Drive through Warwick, past the turnoff to Stanthorpe and head 6 kms along Highway 42 as though going to Goondiwindi. Turn right into Sandy Creek Road (Tourist Route 12), drive 5 kms ( 1 km past the darling Downs Hotel), turn right into Serisier Road and Hope Cottage is the only property on the right.
