Booking Terms

Please provide ALL DETAILS requested, including an address when booking.  


If your stay has to be postponed due to COVID-19, we can reschedule your booking to a later date, or hold any monies received in credit for use when suitable to you (valid for upto 1 year).  


Our preference is always to reschedule bookings rather than cancel but if due to unforeseen circumstances, this is not possible, please provide notice of cancellation or requests for changes to bookings by email.  


Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival date | full refund, less $50  processing fee.

Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to your arrival | non-refundable unless the property is able to be rebooked. If a replacement booking is made by another party, a full refund less a $50 fee will apply.

Extended bookings (longer than 7 nights) - a 50% refund applies if cancelled 14 days prior to the first day of the booking. Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to arrival are non refundable unless the property is able to be rebooked, 

 

We recommend taking out travel insurance to cover unforeseen events.


Conditions of Use

COVID-19 Safe |  Please contact us to reschedule your booking if you are experiencing symptoms linked to COVID-19 such as fever, cough or shortness of breath or have been in close contact with someone who has been confirmed as having COVID -19. Remember to practice good hygiene whilst at 1965 Lobethal. Good hygiene includes washing hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and drying with a towel. Please help us all stay safe!

Arrival & departure | Check in is at 3pm and Checkout is at 11am unless prior arrangements have been made. Please vacate the property on time to avoid inconveniencing incoming guests.

Fire danger season | Where there is prior notification of a catastrophic fire rated day, bookings will be cancelled and a full refund made to ensure your safety. Alternatively you may choose to reschedule the booking.

No Smoking |1965 is a smoke free zone.Smoking is not permitted on the premises. If evidence of smoking is detected,we reserve the right to apply a $200 minimum cleaning fee.

Guests | Our property caters for 4 GUESTS ONLY. When booked for a twin share, the second bedroom is unavailable.  Whilst babies are welcome by prior arrangement, we are not set up to cater for babies & the house is unsuitable for children.

Parties | Due to local government regulation/insurance requirements, parties, group functions and entertaining is not permitted on the premises. A breach of this condition will result in guests being required to vacate the premises immediately. No refund will be made.

Pets | Small pets may be accommodated by negotiation only. Fencing and outdoor space is limited. If approved, pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and for the behaviour of their pets whilst at the premises.Pets are not allowed on the furniture.

Please note | if you have mobility issues :access to the house is via gravel pathways and garden steps. There is also a small internal stair leading to the bedrooms.

It is asked that you leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition. Please wash dishes, empty the fridge and remove excess rubbish. Please be considerate of our neighbours, keeping noise and other disturbance to a minimum.

Additional  Fees |   An extra charge may be made for cleaning, theft, damage or misuse of premises or contents. The fee is at our discretion and may be debited to the guest's credit card.
