Conditions of Use

We ask all guests to use their discretion with regard to the high standard of our cottages, the well-being of our native wildlife, the maintenance of flora and fauna in our nature reserve and the enjoyment of all other guests. Glenaire Park is a natural environment and while guest safety is our concern it is ultimately your responsibility. To that end you acknowledge that Glenaire Park is a peaceful natural environment, you are aware of the vagaries of the bush and you agree to the following conditions:

• To take all reasonable steps to avoid injury to yourself and all members of your party.
• To release Glenaire Park from any claim you may have against it for any such injury and indemnify it against any claims made against it by any person in relation to any such injury.
• To behave in an orderly manner having regard for the solitude of other guests.
• Not to disturb any flora or fauna on the property.
• To be responsible for the cleanliness and behavior of all members of your party.
• To advise management of intention to bring any pet/s and to agree to a surcharge for each pet payable on arrival. To be responsible for the cleanliness and behavior of all pets in your party, to agree to pick up after them and accept the cost of repair for any damage caused by a pet/or pets under you choose to bring.
• That all pets are vaccinated and free of pests and fleas.
• To maintain pets on a lead at all times when on our nature trails.
• Not to leave pets unattended at any time.
• To abide by the rules applying to National Parks when visiting property under the control of Parks Victoria.
• To accept full responsibility for making right any damage caused by any member of your party to property belonging to Glenaire Park and agree to fund the cost of any repairs associated with such damage.
• To manage waste in bins provided and to separate all recyclable materials.
• Not to feed wildlife with anything unnatural to their diet.
• Avoid leaving any scraps or food items in exposed areas where they may entice native animals.
• Maintain BBQ’s free of food scraps and grease so as not to attract native animals.
• To manage energy and water wisely. Turn off water, power and lights when not use and report any faults with regard to these facilities.
• Consume firewood sensibly and never leave an open fire unattended or without a protective screen.
• To leave your cottage and immediate surrounds clean and tidy or agree to an extra cleaning charge.
• To accept that all cottage interiors are non smoking zones.
• That the management are not obliged to offer any refund in the event of any power outage that may occur due to circumstances beyond their control.
• That all cottages are fully self-contained and guests are responsible for the provision of all personal requirements beyond those listed in our facilities provided..
• That all tariffs and conditions of use are subject to change without notice.
• To refer to your cottage compendium or ask at reception if you have any questions with regard to the rules applying to Glenaire Park’s conditions of use.
