This historic Georgian farmhouse was built with convict labour and is situated on one of Tasmania’s first land grant sites. The property is comprised of paddocks, orchards and gardens over 16 acres in the heart of the beautiful Derwent Valley. Furnished in country contemporary style, Stanton in one of Australia's oldest homes constructed in 1817 of convict brick. It now welcomes guests to stay in one of 3 beautiful rooms to enjoy the property and the Derwent Valley region, including Hobart and Central Highlands. You will find Stanton just 20 minutes from MONA 35 mintues from Hobart, and just 3 minutes from the Derwent River and the town of New Norfolk.
