This delightful 1870’s shop has been upgraded to make a cosy self contained B&B.

The second room is seperate and accross the cafe/function area. Has own ensuite bathroom. Breakfast served in cafe area. Evening meals and lunches available by arrangement. Full menu from our cafe and function kitchens. Centrally located in the main street, of the historic town of Farrell Flat, The Fruiterers is just 15 minutes from Clare and Burra, 10 minutes from Mintaro.

The town was a stopover for bullockies in the 1850’s on the Copper Ore Road, from Burra to Pt Wakefield.

In the 1870’s and the coming of the railway, the town became a grain depot and station on the Broken Hill line.

Wander around the town and discover some of the early heritage of the area.

Tour the Clare wineries, heritage listed Mintaro and Martindale Hall.
