PARONELLA PARK – the dream continues…

The unforgettable holiday memories are the chance discoveries.

Paronella Park is impossible to describe - You arrive not knowing what to expect and depart having experienced a unique piece of Australia.

The Park was developed in the 1920s/30s by Spanish immigrant Jose Paronella, an early eco-tourism operator. Visitors are amazed to find amongst the many buildings, North Queenslands first Hydro Electric system, and fountains fed by the 60 feet Mena Creek Falls.

Jose planted 7000 trees enabling the inclusion of an Indigenous Bush Tucker Tour into the visitor experience.
After successfully operating until his death in 1948, the Park was lost for 45 years. It was rediscovered in 1993.

The experience includes:
• The Story of Jose Paronella’s dream (Day Tours) 45 minutes
