This full day tour includes a variety of experiences. It’s a day of exploration and discovery. You will visit wineries in two separate regions of the Fleurieu Peninsula, to the south of Adelaide, and learn about the history, nature and wildlife of this delightful region.
Your guide will meet you in Adelaide and take you along a picturesque way into the McLaren Vale wine region where you will have morning tea and visit one of the premium local wineries, before proceeding south towards the coastal town of Victor Harbor. Immediately to the north of Victor Harbor you will visit Urimbirra Wildlife Sanctuary for a very special treat. Urimbirra is a home to many very native Australian animals, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, dingoes and even crocodiles. You will have the opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with many of the animals including the Koalas. Lunch at a restaurant within view of the sea provides an opportunity to relax. After lunch you will explore parts of the southern coast of the peninsula including Port Elliot, Lake Alexandrina and the floodplains of the Bremer River. Visit one of Australia’s oldest family owned wineries in the Langhorne Creek wine region.
