Darwin Harbour Cruises have two luxuriously restored schooners; the “Alfred Nobel” and the “Tumlaren” and they offer a wide range of harbour cruises to suit all budgets and tastes.
Darwin Harbour Cruises Office and vessels are all located at the Stokes Hill Wharf, right on the edge of Darwin City, making them easily accessible to locals and visitors alike.
The beautifully presented vessels provide the perfect platform for a relaxing and truly memorable occasion. “Alfred Nobel” is a 30-metre schooner. She has been lovingly restored and now offers the only dinner cruise with table service and all the facilities of a floating restaurant. The delicious meal is prepared on deck by the top quality staff and only the freshest Australian Seafood and local products are used. Dinner cruises depart daily from April right through to December.
The “Tumlaren” is a 20-metre schooner that has also been restored to immaculate condition. The ‘Tumlaren’ comfortably carries up to 45 guests. There is plenty of shaded seating on the open plan deck and the vessel boasts modern amenities to cater for every age of clientele.
Our cruises offer a perfect mini escape for locals in need of a break or travellers wanting to experience the best of what Darwin has to offer. Enjoying a cruise on Darwin’s fabulous harbour has become a very popular option for the finale to a memorable Darwin Holiday.
Both vessels are available for group bookings or private charters. Darwin Harbour Cruises would be happy to prepare a private charter quotation for you and have packages to suit all budgets, tastes, and occasions.
This unique tropical dining experience aboard the schooner "Alfred Nobel" features an Australian Gourmet Dinner. The dinner starts with a selection of freshly baked breads served with a home made dip and Australian Style Dukkha, followed by a chilled seafood platter of freshly shucked Coffin Bay oysters and chilled local Tiger prawns. We then fire up our BBQ and serve wild caught Barramundi fillets and gourmet chicken and beef skewers, accompanied by a choice of fresh salads. We finish with a delightful dessert platter. This cruise is a must for any special occasion or the perfect finale for your Darwin experience.
