Aboriginal Art Full Day Tour

Depart William Creek and fly over the spectacular Painted Desert to Cadney Homestead. From Cadney Homestead, fly to the Anangu Pitjantjatjara lands, home to the most remote and inaccessible settlements in South Australia.
The Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjara people have a strong tradition in contemporary art practices. You will visit art galleries in three of the four major art centres, Amata, Fregon and Ernbella. (Permits arranged).
Artwork produced and sold through these centres include exquisite batiks, works on paper, paintings, natural dying, spinning, weaving, punu and leatherwork.

The Lake Eyre & Anna Creek Painted Hills 2 Hour Scenic Flight

Depart William Creek on unique trip to view the Anna Creek Painted Hills set in the outback of South Australia - an area of 30km by 10km of sandstone hills in pristine condition and incredible colours. No roads exist in this area and can only be view by air.
A unique and spectacular opportunity to view one of Australia's hidden iconic landmarks. (Less than 400 people have seen these hills in the last 50 years). William Creek is located in one of the most remote areas of Australia. Enjoy the visual extremities of Lake Eyre, Australia's largest inland lake, with its incredible colours and patterns tht become accentuated from the air whether full of water or totally dry.
A totally captivating flight that will return you both visually impacted and educationally enriched. When the lake is 80% full of water, there are up to 85 different varieties of bird life and millions of birds to look at. The only way to get the full impact is from the air.

Lake Eyre 2 Hour Scenic Flight
: Max 6 people
This 2-HOUR flight offers you a great way to overview the lake, especially when the rivers are running and the birds are nesting.We depart William Creek for the southern end of Lake Eyre North, Belt Bay. This bay is the lowest point below sea level in Australia. We track across the bay for Silt Crete Island where Pelican nesting groups are frequently seen then track up the Western shoreline of the Babbage Peninsula and up to Dulhunty Island. From here we pick up the Warburton Groove and follow the Groove up to the very North of the Lake to the Warburton Inlet. We then follow the Warburton River up the Channel Country to the Kalaweerina Inlet and then return to William Creek. This flight allows you to go to the very north end of Lake Eyre to experience the river systems and the desert.
