Beachside Retreat West Inlet, West Inlet Farm
Beachside Retreat West Inlet is an ocean-frontage cattle property and wildlife retreat 2.5 kms from Stanley, in north-west Tasmania.
With absolute beach access to West Inlet and Bass Strait, guests can enjoy miles of private, sandy beach.
Activities include bird watching, swimming, fishing, beach combing or collecting wild Pacific oysters.
Numerous birds, including white-breasted sea eagles, inhabit the isolated shoreline and wildlife abounds.
Hosted 4 wheel drive tours and walks operate from the property, into the the Tarkine Wilderness and Rocky Cape National Park. Please book in advance.
Self-catering, contemporary-style, award winning ecocabins and luxury nature cabins, for couples, are sited on the sand dunes overlooking the ocean. Accommodation for 4 to 5 guests is available in the three bedroom spa lodge, adjacent to the homestead and 30 metres from the beach. Breakfast baskets are available, please order in advance.

For a couple only, the contemporary styled ecocabin is situated on the sand dunes overlooking the sea.
The studio cabin is self contained with en-suite bathroom, lounge/dining/kitchen area and a private deck.
Gas is used for heating, cooking and hot water.
Children/infants not accepted.

In addition to quality appliances and reverse cycle heating/air-conditioning, the cabin features a heated spa pool (unavailable June - September) on the sand dunes with glorious ocean views.
Highly recommended for a honeymoon or that special occasion. For a couple only, children/infants not accepted.

Pelican : Max 2 people : Minimum stay 2 nights

This new studio, nature cabin is situated on the sand dunes with panoramic ocean views.
The open-plan designed cabin has one bedroom with queen-size bed, a bathroom with large modular shower, fully equipped kitchen and lounge/dining area. Fitted with reverse-cycle heating/air-conditioning and of unusual contemporary design, this cabin is an amazing experience. For one couple only; children not accepted.
Spa Lodge

Spa Lodge : Max 5 people : Minimum stay 2 nights

The Lodge has three bedrooms; one double and one queen with an adjoining single room and accommodates five guests. There is a full size kitchen with dishwasher, stove etc., lounge/dining area, a bathroom with double corner spa, modular shower and vanity. The toilet is separate. There are 2 outside decks and a large private garden with sea view. Heating is electric, underfloor and by a wall fan. There are no facilities for small children.
