Litchfield Highlights (day 1)

A great way to see Litchfield National Park and Adelaide River on your way to Katherine.
An early start and well worth the effort. Highlights today will include the Magnetic Termite Mounds, the magnificent falls of Tolmer, Florence and Wangi and the truly beautiful Buley Rockhole.
Enjoy a swim at Wangi Falls, before continuing to Katherine via Adelaide River.
Arrive in Katherine at approximately 5.30pm.
What To Bring:
Swimwear and towel, sunscreen, hat, camera, comfortable walking shoes and insect repellent; all easily accessible in your day pack.
Departs:
Between 6.30 and 7.00am from your Darwin accommodation.
Option:
Return to Darwin with Greyhound or the Ghan – subject to availability and at own cost.

After lunch at Best Western Pine Tree Motel, take pleasure in a swim at the Katherine Hot Springs, then onto Springvale Homestead for afternoon tea and a historical tour of the oldest homestead in the Territory. Visit other attractions during the rest of the afternoon and arrive back at your accommodation at approx 5.00pm.

Motel, return Greyhound Coach to Darwin, Nitmiluk

Day 1 - Katherine Gorge/Overnight Kakadu
Depart from you accommodation for a 2 hour cruise at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park. Return to Katherine for lunch before leaving for Kakadu National Park. Enter through the southern entrance via Pine Creek and Mary River. Arrive at Cooinda, home of the Yellow Water cruises, and take pleasure in the variety of birds, wildlife and crocodiles on a sunset cruise.
Day 2 - Kakadu National Park/Darwin
depart Cooinda at 7:00am for Nourlangie Rock, just magic at this time of the morning. today will create long lasting memories of Kakadu for you, including Ubirr, Bowali Visitors Centre, Border Store, East Alligator River and so much more. Arrive in Darwin at approximately 5:30pm.
