SeaShells Penneshaw
Architect designed, completed in December 2005, this self-catering family style facility reflects the local historic character of neighbouring beach houses offering sea views back to the mainland with a conservation park at the back door. It is located about half a kilometre from the Penneshaw town centre and the SeaLink Ferry terminal. It is only a 200-metre walk to the white sand sheltered beach of Hog Bay.

Penneshaw offers country town hospitality and is recognised as the gateway to Kangaroo Island. It is emerging as a prominent arts and cultural centre for the island. The town provides a hotel, business centre with Internet facilities, food shops, wine store plus local art/craft shops and a golf course. Christmas Cover offers excellent boat ramp and mooring facilities the Gateway Visitors Information Centre.

SeaShells Penneshaw provides comfortable self-catering family style accommodation for either six or up to eight guests. The bedrooms are fully carpeted with built in robes and ceiling fans. Split system air conditioning services the open plan living and dining areas plus the well-equipped kitchen. The laundry, toilet and bathroom areas attractively tiled. All areas have dimmer controlled down lights and ample power outlets. Special features include seashell motive leadlight style windows to the bedrooms, raking ceilings and a clear finished cypress pine deck facing north to the mainland.
