Hobart Historic Tours offers great guided walks to introduce you to Hobart, the greatest little city in the Southern Hemisphere, with a uniquely fascinating, at times scandalous and murky, but still living, past!
All tours operate from the 1st October to 30th April. A minimum of 2 persons is required for all walks.

Departure Point: Tasmanian Travel & Information Centre, cnr Davey & Elizabeth Sts, Hobart.
This tour runs with a minimum of 2 persons.
Enduringly popular, this classic Walk goes for 1 ½ hrs and provides a wonderful insight into Hobart's history and background. Your guide will explain the significance of the many heritage-listed buildings that are still a visible part of Hobart and make up much of its charm, together with stories of relevant personages and factors that were major influences in those early days.
Single person bookings can be made online; however, we cannot guarantee a departure unless other bookings have been received. We therefore recommend that you meet our tour guide at the departure point on the day, and bring a cash (only) payment instead. Child rate applies to children 8-16 years. Under 8 years are free. Beloved by all...Battery Point is an area of unique charm, with small artisan's cottages as well as grand old homes. Famous for Arthur's Circus, a nostalgic re-creation of 'olde England' by Governor Arthur in 1840, it also has delightful gardens, dreamy water vistas, and unique St. Georges Church. The 1 ½ hr tour includes a short stop at Shipwright’s Arms, where a coffee/drink is optionally available for purchase.

Old Hobart Pub Tour at 5pm (Tue, Thu and Sat only)
Departure Point: Main Entrance to St. David’s Cathedral, in Murray St, Hobart.
This tour runs with a minimum of 2 persons. The Pub Tour is not suitable for children.
