The Prince of Wales Hotel has been offering guests a warm friendly atmosphere and accommodation since it was built in the late Eighteen hundreds, making it one of Gulgong’s oldest buildings. Situated in Mayne Street, Gulgong - an historic country town in the heart of the Mudgee wine district, with a population of 2,500.

Visitors staying can be assured of a good nights sleep with reverse cycle air conditioners fitted in all rooms for comfort in both summer and winter months.

The Prince of Wales Hotel has a restaurant open 7 days and nights for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a menu to suit all palates and a selection of Mudgee wine available. There is loads of entertainment with a Texas Hold ‘em Poker comp on a Thursday night, Live Bands on Friday night, and a Saturday night Pool Comp.

The hotel style accommodation at the Prince of Wales Hotel, consists of five rooms equipped with TV, air conditioning, electric blankets, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and shared bathrooms.

Also now available at the Prince of Wales hotel, are seven newly built, modern 3 1/2 star rooms (AAAT rated). This motel style accommodation option includes one room with wheel chair access.
