The Welcome Stranger Hotel is located on the corner of Harrington and Davey streets in the city of Hobart, offering comfortable and affordable accommodation. En-suite and Budget rooms’ available and 24 hour reception.
Within 3 minutes stroll through St David’s Park is the famous Salamanca precinct where every Saturday the Salamanca market is held.
5 minutes walk and you are in the heart of the city and the main shopping area where you will find something for everyone.
Also it is only 5 minutes walk to the Hobart waterfront where you could pick up a great cruise around the harbour and surrounds.

The Hotel features wood fired pizza’s and snacks available until late every night, gaming machines, full dining menu from Tuesday to Saturday nights and Pool Hall with 13 8-ball Tables.
