Mangrove Route tours provide an interactive and comfortable experience on a state of the art vessel to have a real saltwater experience on the seas around Darwin. This area is home to the Larrakia people. Mangrove Route acknowledges the custodians of the Larrakia saltwater country and is privileged to introduce visitors to this special area.

The “Snubfin” is Mangrove Route’s first vessel. It has been specially designed for Darwin coastal conditions. Its speed and comfort across tropical waters enables passengers to have an exhilarating ride to places other tour boats dare not go. The “Snubfin” is named after Australia’s only endemic species of dolphin. A family of these shy dolphins reside in Darwin Harbour. These dolphins are distinctive because they always have a smile on their face.
